EATON DCF-1600 MECHANICALLY CLEANED FILTER SAVES INDIAN PAINT MAJOR TIME AND MONEY

News from India is that one of that country's major paint manufacturers recently installed an Eaton DCF-1600 mechanically cleaned filter.

The paint company manufactures a wide range of decorative and industrial paints that meet quality and environmental safety objectives. In order to maintain its high standards, the company had to overcome the major challenge in the filtering of impurities from soy-based resins used in the manufacturing of certain paints. These large particles and foreign fibres are successfully removed by the DCF-1600.

The DCF-1600 is suitable for highly viscous, abrasive or sticky liquids including paint. The DCF-Series filters perform a selfcleaning action by mechanically scraping collected debris from the filter screen with a spring loaded cleaning disc that travels down and up, wiping the media clean of concentrated solids in both strokes. The collected debris is automatically purged from the collection chamber at the bottom of the filter
