Well you had better believe it because that's exactly what we can offer...in South Africa we are pricing our 0.2 micron polypropylene string wound cartridges at just R35 for 10", R70 for 20" and R105 for 30". ...in order to achieve this rating, a layer of 0.2um polypropylene membrane is wrapped around the supporting plastic core as the final filter....efficiency of 90% is claimed.

This is a far cry from your normal string wound cartridges which are the most commonly used filtration media for reducing contamination in water and other liquids...in addition they are the cheapest form of filtration. However, there are a number of drawbacks such as media migration, chemical leaching, "tunneling" effect and particle unloading which problems are evident in the cheaper products currently available.
